Amber is the fossilized sap of pre historic trees which You can sometimes find ancient insects and animals that have been entombed in the setting of the sap. Amber can be from 30 to 100 Million years old, Needless to say most of the trees that it comes from are now extinct. It has a warm reddish to deep gold hues and is very much translucent.
